Uganda, Vivo Barefoot

For the launch of their new vegan hiking boots, I partnered with Vivo Barefoot on a journey I’ve dreamed of for years; trekking through Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in search of mountain gorillas. It was a true bucket list experience, hiking through thick jungle and then locking eyes with one of our closest wild relatives. This partnership wasn’t just about testing gear in the field, it was about aligning with a brand that shares my values around sustainability, minimal impact, and reconnecting with nature. The forest challenged me, moved me, and reminded me why I do what I do and it was an honour to bring that story to life with Vivo.
